Taking place November 13–15, 2026, at The Concourse Project in Austin, Seismic Dance Event returns for its ninth edition featuring a lineup that reaches well beyond its marquee names. While internationally recognized acts like Above & Beyond, Porter Robinson, and Austin-born global hard techno force Sara Landry will draw attention, the festival’s deeper appeal rests in the musical diversity woven throughout its 48-artist bill. From driving tech house and fast-paced UK garage to hardgroove and melodic compositions, Seismic 9.0 brings together established innovators and rising underground talent, including Benwal, 1tbsp, BOLO, and Austin’s own Jenna Shaw. For longtime Texas ravers and interested newcomers alike, the weekend offers a chance to explore the sounds shaping electronic music’s next chapter.

Anchored by The Concourse Project’s warehouse atmosphere and expanded outdoor stages, Seismic 9.0 brings three individual musical currents into focus: high-energy house, underground techno, and expansive melodic melodies. House fans can move between the vocal-driven tech house of Chris Lorenzo and Max Styler and the more profound, percussive sounds of Luke Alessi and Marco Strous. On the techno side, the programming spans the fast, driving rhythms of Sara Landry, KI/KI, and SPFDJ, alongside the raw industrial textures associated with established artists like Chris Liebing and VTSS. Together, these sounds create a lineup with room for both recognizable favorites and different interpretations of the dance floor.

Beyond those core sounds, Seismic makes room for artists who move between genres and resist basic categorization. The melodic, emotionally driven sound of Above & Beyond offers a sharp contrast to the high-BPM energy of acts like horsegiirL, Brutalismus 3000, and STÜM. Meanwhile, artists such as 1tbsp, BOLO, MPH, and NOTION draw from UK garage, speed garage, and leftfield bass, bringing a different kind of momentum to the lineup. These contrasting styles give festivalgoers the freedom to move between moods and musical worlds, making discovery as much a part of the experience as seeing familiar names.

Some of the most fascinating discoveries, however, may be found beyond the headliners. Seismic 9.0’s lineup brings together rising artists and underground selectors whose sounds reflect the breadth of today's club culture. Dutch selector Benwal and Latin house innovator BOLO have been building momentum through releases and performances that bring buoyant rhythms and global club influences to the dance floor. For people attracted to deeper underground sounds, UK speed garage specialist Paige Tomlinson, genre-blurring selector TOCCORORO, and fast-rising producer Brunello deliver distinct approaches rooted in rhythm, texture, and movement. Elsewhere, 1tbsp, the indie-electronic project of Golden Features, and genre-blurring act Starjunk 95 explore territory between breakbeat, micro-house, and leftfield electronic sounds. Together, these artists represent the kind of discovery that gives a festival lineup depth beyond its biggest billing.

That same discovery has a distinctly Texas connection. Seismic Dance Event is part of a regional dance music landscape crafted by artists, venues, promoters, and communities across the state. Sara Landry’s return carries particular significance, tracing a trajectory from Austin’s intimate warehouse scene to international stages and showing how local roots can lead to global reach. The lineup also features Texas-rooted talent like Austin mainstay Jenna Shaw, whose involvement in regional club nights and underground collectives reflects the community-building that keeps local scenes moving.

Ultimately, what makes Seismic Dance Event unique is the way its different musical identities come together without losing what makes each one distinct. Across a single weekend at The Concourse Project, festivalgoers can move from the dark, driving pulse of industrial techno to the restless bounce of UK garage, then settle into expansive, vocal-led house and melodic compositions. The experience rewards those willing to wander beyond familiar stages, follow an unfamiliar sound, and discover an artist they might not have found otherwise. For seasoned ravers and first-time explorers alike, Seismic Dance Event 9.0 opens a window into where the sound is going, and some of the artists who will take it there.
